The manufacturing site of Evolon® textiles holds the following certifications:

• ISO 9001:2015 (quality)
• ISO 14001:2015 (environment)
• ISO 45001:2018  (safety)
• ISO 50001:2011 (energy)

Oeko-Tex certifications

Evolon® microfilament fabrics are certified according to MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX®.

This results from the combination of two important certification processes led by the reknown institute:

• Evolon® fabrics have been tested for harmful subtances according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label, in product class I, Annex 6. Product class I stands for suitability for babies. Annex 6 groups the highest requirements of the standard.
• Additionally, Evolon® fabrics are produced sustainably in accordance with OEKO-TEX® guidelines. For this, Evolon® production plant is certified according to STeP by OEKO-TEX® with the highest level of certification: Level 3 “exemplary implementation of best practices”. This includes compliance with DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® criteria.

ECARF: Evolon® for dust-mite-proof bedding

Evolon® has been awarded the independent quality seal of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF). This aims to help allergy sufferers to choose appropriate goods and services by certifying the quality of products as well as services according to strict standards.

Certified for HP latex inks and M1 flame-retardant certified

Evolon® printing media with references EVO 100 PMB FR, EVO 130 PMB FR and EVO 170 PMB FR are certified for HP latex inks.*

These Evolon® product references are also certified as flame-retardant under French fire regulations and have been awarded M1 classification.

Environmentally friendly

Freudenberg was awarded a special prize for the water recycling process used in manufacturing Evolon®: the “Eco-Trophée du Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges”.

Suitability for laser cutting

Evolon® has been tested for its laserability in the application laboratory of eurolaser GmbH and has received the following evaluation: “Suitability for laser cutting: excellent suitable”
